We’re HighRise – an award-winning multi-arts collective telling the stories of people, places and communities that don’t always get heard.
Rap, theatre, music, subcultures, politics and heritage are at the heart of what we do. We bring these worlds together to create work that’s relevant, alive and rooted in real experience – from original productions and artist development to youth programmes and creative collaborations.
We’ve worked with Nike, the National Theatre, the Barbican, Ruff Sqwad, Hoodrich, Red Bull and the V&A, alongside leading drama schools and universities. Our work has featured across BBC, GQ, The Guardian, The New York Times, Reuters and the Evening Standard.
In 2020, we launched NewGens, our flagship training programme for young multidisciplinary artists facing barriers to entering theatre and the wider arts. We give artists the space, support and connections to develop their practice and make work on their own terms. NewGens alumni have gone on to work and study at the BBC, New Diorama, RADA, Guildhall and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, with artists now working across theatre, TV, film and radio.
