Oliver is an Actor, Director, Facilitator and occasional writer.
Oliver has been working as an actor from an early age, with humble beginnings as a child star for the likes of the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
What created the building blocks for Oliver’s love of language and his desire to contemporise his work through spoken word and Hip-Hop, was an early education in Shakespeare performance with 1623 Theatre Company, of which he is also an associate artist.
In 2013 Oliver starred in Sandpits Avenue winner of the Herald Angel Award as well as the NSDF Award winning League of St George, for which he received commendation as best lead at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Oliver met the rest of the HighRise team whilst studying at East 15 on the Acting & Contemporary Theatre Course. From this he has continued his work for HighRise as a facilitator at We are Spotlight, Centre Point, Artsdepot and Chickenshed.
He also directed the critically acclaimed grime concert Merryville, as well as taking on multiple roles in Between the Cracks, Big Smother and The Concrete Jungle Book.
Throughout his career Oliver has collaborated with Derby Playhouse, The Royal Shakespeare Company, National Youth Theatre, The Pleasance, King’s Head Theatre, Camden People’s Theatre and Southwark Playhouse.
Oliver is also a beatboxer- he’s usually the 3rd best in the room at any given time.
